Exopen is now launching, together with GoClimate, a new integrated solution that makes sustainability data a natural part of companies’ business management. Through this collaboration, companies gain the opportunity to work in a data-driven way with both business data and emissions data – in the same platform.

For Exopen, which has long focused on data-driven operational management and reporting, the launch is a natural step as requirements for emissions reporting and sustainability data continue to increase.

– Emissions reporting is a very important area for our customers – in fact, for all Swedish companies. At the same time, it requires deep expertise to ensure calculations are accurate and credible. That is why we are launching this together with GoClimate, which has the expertise, methodology, and technology required, says Mari Källström at Exopen.

Business Data and Emissions Data – Together in Exopen’s Platform

Through this joint launch, GoClimate’s emissions data is integrated directly into Exopen’s platform. This enables companies to combine their existing business data for data-driven operational management with reliable climate data in a structured and accessible way.

– Now, together with GoClimate, when we add sustainability factors, companies gain an entirely new basis for decision-making in management, follow-up, and development.

Sustainability data thus becomes neither a separate system nor an isolated report, but an integrated part of the data-driven business management that Exopen and GoClimate now offer together.

A Joint Solution

Many small and medium-sized enterprises experience sustainability reporting as complex and resource-intensive. Exopen and GoClimate share the view that this must become simpler – and more business-relevant.

– Our shared ambition is that sustainability reporting should not only be perceived as a requirement. When integrated into business management, it can instead contribute to tangible business value. That is exactly the connection we enable through this launch, Mari continues.

Sustainability Data – A Natural Part of Future Business Decisions

Exopen, together with GoClimate, sees that access to reliable sustainability data is already a prerequisite in many business relationships – and that its importance will continue to grow.

– In the short and medium term, this is often a requirement for maintaining customer relationships. At the same time, companies that are ahead of the curve can use sustainability data as a clear competitive advantage.

In the long term, sustainability data will become as natural as financial KPIs, as the effects of climate change become increasingly tangible.

A Joint Step in Exopen’s Long-Term Strategy

The launch together with GoClimate is part of Exopen’s strategy to be the platform where companies collect, analyze, and report all business-critical data. All in one single platform.

– The amount of data companies handle is increasing exponentially, and it has never been more important than now to manage data in a structured way in order to run your business and make the right decisions. Sustainability data is another important data source that now, together with GoClimate, becomes a natural part of the whole. Combined with the opportunities created by AI, we see very significant future potential.
