Why does GoClimate exist?

To keep the rise in global temperatures below 1.5°C this century, emissions of carbon dioxide will have to be cut by 50% by 2030, and then continue to decrease. Many people, mainly in developing countries, are already experiencing the devastating effects of climate change, and there is no time to waste in turning this ship around.

This puts a lot of pressure on governments, companies and individuals alike. The changes we all need to do to meet the goal and avoid further climate catastrophe can be difficult to get your head around. We want to facilitate the journey towards a climate friendly lifestyle, showing that a life in line with caring for our planet - and each other - can be a luxurious one. A life with more focus on what is truly important.

How do we stop climate change?

In order to stop climate change we all need to live climate friendly lives now. The best way to do that is to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible and balance our emissions by financing effective climate projects. We believe that we can stop climate change – if we do it together and if we start now.
