1. Data controller
GoClimate Sweden AB, org-no 559130-6583, Styrmansgatan 4, 114 54 Stockholm, Sweden (“GoClimate”, “we”, “us”).
2. Purpose & legal basis
By entering your e-mail address and clicking Subscribe you give clear consent (GDPR Art 6 (1)(a)) for us to send:
- Up to four e-mails per month with climate tips, product updates and promotions
- Important service notices if you are an existing GoClimate customer
3. Data we collect
Required: e-mail address.
4. How we use and share it
We store your data in our secure CRM and e-mail service provider (currently Intercom). Providers act only under our instructions and under a signed Data Processing Agreement. Data may be processed outside the EU/EEA; when that happens we rely on EU-approved Standard Contractual Clauses.
We may also use your e-mail address to create anonymized custom audiences for advertising on platforms such as Google and Meta. This allows us to show relevant messages to similar audiences or existing subscribers. You can opt out of this use at any time by contacting [email protected].
5. Storage period
We keep your details until you withdraw consent.
6. Your rights
You may at any time:
- Unsubscribe via the link in every mail or e-mail [email protected]
- Request access, rectification, portability or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)
We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
Access to subscriber data is limited to employees who need it and is protected by technical and organisational measures.
8. Updates
If we materially change these terms we will notify you by e-mail in advance and seek fresh consent when required.
