GoClimate was founded in Stockholm in 2017 by Kalle Nilvér, Cecilia Lindén and Henrik Kniberg, and today has offices in Stockholm and Duved.
The company is run with one clear goal: to stop climate change. In 2023 we launched what is now our core business — an automated platform for measuring, reporting and reducing climate impact, aimed in particular at small and medium-sized companies, which make up 99% of all businesses worldwide.
The business is structured as a social enterprise on a “profit for purpose” basis — profit is subordinate to the climate goal in how the company is governed.
How we're organised
A six-hour workday is the norm for all employees. The company has no traditional management structure and is instead run collectively. Finances and decisions are handled with full internal transparency.
We work with diversity and inclusion as part of our climate-justice efforts, and staff take part in climate demonstrations and choose the train over flying on business trips — as company policy rather than individual initiatives.
