Climate engagement is important to Reachem AB. The company strives to offer events with a low climate impact. This means reducing as much as possible and taking responsibility for remaining emissions by financing climate projects. Meanwhile, Reachem AB works internally towards a positive climate impact.

Between 2021 and 2022, Reachem increased the number of flights, leading to significantly higher emissions in Business travel (+4.8 tonnes CO2e). Meanwhile, activity within Vehicle use and Commuting only took place during 2022. This is expected after COVID-19 and means that the climate impact for 2022 can likely be seen as a baseline. At the same time, renovations were carried out at the office, thereby increasing the Other purchases category by about 2.5 tonnes CO2e. A positive note though is that far less IT-equipment was purchased, meaning that Electronics dropped heavily (-2.2 tonnes CO2e).
